About CommuniDID

As a therapist who works with clients living with DID and OSDD, I have seen how difficult it can be to find knowledgeable help. While I can’t provide therapy to everyone, I can provide information that people can use to better understand their experiences and support their own healing.

CommuniDID is intended to be a safe and accepting place where DID is not viewed as a mental illness, but as a sophisticated adaptation to overwhelming early circumstances. One of the central goals of this site is to help people understand why DID works the way it does and how adaptive it was when it first developed.

Over time, it is my hope that CommuniDID may grow into an online space where people can learn from one another and offer support within a respectful and informed community.
